Bio:

Grace Roselli is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York, with over 40 years of experience in exploring gender, identity, and cultural transformation through photography and visual storytelling. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (B.F.A., Painting with Honors), Roselli has also completed residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Empire State Studio Residency Program.

Roselli’s Pandora’s BoxX Project documents over 300 womxn cultural contributors, including artists, curators, writers, and critics, active since the 1960s. Her collaborative photographic practice amplifies marginalized voices and challenges gender norms, providing a powerful visual archive that redefines cultural narratives. The project has received funding from the Brooklyn Arts Council, New York State Council on the Arts, and Puffin Foundation, among others.

Roselli has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group shows, including Naked Bike (2017) and Eminent Domain (2018). Her contributions to the arts extend beyond her own practice, with leadership in public panels and discussions on cultural resilience and gender equity. Featured in publications such as ArtCritical and The New York Times, Roselli’s work continues to inspire and engage communities through its blend of art, activism, and cultural documentation.
